PostHeaderIcon Maria Koszewska-Wajdzik

Maria Koszewska- Wajdzik was born on 8th December, 1971 in Poznań. In 1990 she finished with Barbara’s Miodyńska piano class of music school Poznańskie Liceum Muzyczne very good notes. Just after she started studies at Akademia Muzyczna in Poznań, under the guidance of Professor Andrzej Tatarski. She left studies with the first class honours degree.

Her achievements:

- in 1998 was honoured at Ogólnopolski Konkurs Wykonawczy Muzyki Karola Szymanowskiego in Zakopane.

- in 1991 won the 1st Fryderyk Chopin scholarschip in Warsaw

- won twice Art and Culture Ministry scholarship

Milena Julia Piszczorowicz began her piano studies at the age of six at the Henryk Melcer Primary and Secondary State Music School in Kalisz. In the years 1994 - 1998 she continued to learn at Poznan School of Talents where she worked under the direction of prof. Waldemar Andrzejewski. She graduated with distinction from the I. J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan (Poland) in the piano class under prof. Jan Janski.  More

At the same time under Stephan Imorde she earned the diploma Master's degree of the Academy Music and Theatre in Rostock (Germany). Two years later she ended post-graduate studies - accompanying singers in the class of prof. Karola Theill in Academy Music and Theatre Rostock.

He graduated summa cum laude from Professor Alicja Kledzik’s piano class at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. The year 1992 brought him the Third Prize at the European Claude Kahne Piano Competition in Paris. He has received artistic scholarships from the Frederick Chopin Society in Warsaw, the Ferenc Liszt Society in Wrocław, and the Polish Minister of Culture and Art.

Soloist and chamber musician, he has performed at home and abroad: in Germany, Russia (in the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory), Sweden, and Hungary. He has accompanied singer Iwona Hossa, violist Lech Bałaban, as well as cellists Dominik Połoński and Roman Jabłoński.With clarinettist Bogusław Jakubowski, he has recorded Forgotten and New Works for Clarinet by Szczecin Composers of the 19th,20th and 21st Centuries, including pieces by Carl Loewe, Ryszard Kwiatkowski, Waldemar Sutryk, and Artur Cieślak. With cellist Maciej Mazurek, he has recorded CD with cello sonatas by Luigi Boccherini, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Dmitry Shostakovich. Employed at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, he acted as Professor Waldemar Andrzejewski’s Assisstant in the years 1993-2001; currently Assisstant Professor of the Piano Department and the Chamber Music Department.
